Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to have any experience to sign up?
No, you don't. I will customise your class according to your needs and level of experience.

Q: What do private classes offer that studio classes don't?
1) You may be new to yoga and feel shy and intimated in a group setting. In my class, you can learn at your own pace in a safe space without any peer pressure.

2) Learning correct alignment is very important for your safety and for the sustainability of your practise. In a group class, you rarely have the luxury of a teacher paying close attention to you; in my class, I'm always there to guide and help you.

3) You're probably busy, and having me come to your place for a class makes getting started and sticking with your practise more manageable than going to a studio.

4) You may have special concerns such as backaches, stiff joints or other health conditions that a regular studio teacher won't be prepared for. I design your classes with these in mind.

Q: What if I don't have a mat? Can you provide the props? Where can I get a yoga mat and other props?

You don't need a mat or other props, as I can provide these in a class. However, since a regular practise is important if you really want to benefit from yoga, I recommend that you have one mat so you can practise at home. If you need help getting a mat, I'm happy to assist: I do sell mats (the same kind I use for my own practice) and can provide recommendations on other brands too.

Q: What do I need to start a yoga practise?
All you need is an open mind!
